Kennebunk Savings

Every year, we ask our customers to help decide where a portion of our Community Promise budget should go. If you are a Kennebunk Savings customer, it's easy to cast your vote. Simply watch for your ballot in the mail and you can send it back or drop it off at your local branch. If you have questions about the program, just ask us. We'll be happy to help.

How your votes made a difference

In 2011, our customers helped to decide which nonprofits would share the $100,000 set aside for the Customer Ballot program. The largest number of votes, nearly ten percent of them, went to the Animal Welfare Society, which received a check for $9,061. Overall, 43% of the funds went to organizations that provide for basic needs, such as food pantries and hospitals. Kennebunk Savings Officers hand delivered the checks to the many other 125 nonprofits who received your votes.
